The Known Media & Business Awards celebrates excellence across South Africa’s dynamic media and business landscape. With 27 exciting categories to choose from, there’s a spotlight waiting just for you. Whether you're a trailblazing entrepreneur, a creative powerhouse, or a media game-changer — there's a space to be recognized. Find the category that fits your hustle and let your impact be known! Some categories will be put up for public votes, while others will be based on the judges unanimous decision. We will select 3 Nominees under each category. Some categories may require a follow up interview with the entrant.

Creative Skills Award

Recognizes creative professionals in Graphics and Fine Art Design and Photography with an outstanding portfolio and impact.

Entertainment Business of the Year Award

Awarded to an entertainment-based business excelling in music, film, events, or production.

Social Impact Business Award

Honours an organization addressing social issues and contributing to community upliftment through innovative business models.

E-commerce & Retail Excellence Award

For an online or retail-based business demonstrating outstanding customer service, logistics, and digital innovation.

Young Entrepreneur Award

Presented to a standout entrepreneur under 30 who has created a thriving business or platform.

Travel Agency of the Year Award

Recognizes an agency providing excellent travel experiences, customer satisfaction, and unique packages.

Honors a dynamic personality making waves on TV Shows & Streaming Platforms with influence and professionalism. Must have starred in a movie or series.

Best Podcast Award

Recognizes a podcast or show offering insight, entertainment, empowerment, or innovation in storytelling.

Content Creator of the Year Award

To be eligible, nominees must be based in South Africa, and must have demonstrated excellence, innovation, or impact within the past 12–18 months. Self nominations are also permitted.
